Yay, I'm finally back in those parts of the country where there actually is internet. I was working for over three weeks in a village that was obviously remote enough not to have decent mobile phone service, and therefor no UMTS either - which meant close to no internet at all... Well, now that I'm off work for two weeks, I'm going to do something crazy -
callajoy invited me to join her team in GISHWHES. It's an absolute first for me, and I know I'm going to do crazy shit... what the heck, I love crazy shit XD (I loved last years flying christmas tree that happened to fly towards Calgary airport and then the police was notified and tried to explain to the airport authorities that yes, there was really a christmas hanging on baloons flying into their airspace... XD). It's going to be soooo much fun! You just have to love Misha Collins for coming up with stuff like this!

Date: 2013-08-07 08:32 pm (UTC)Me? I'm temping, min wage, but so far reasonably reliable. I've learnt a lot about accessable print (Braille, large-format), and thus how to use Word even better. So thats useful. Also still with the parents.
Still no clue about the bigger picture, except that it'll involve emigration someday, and a larger paycheque, heh. Uni? No. Not unless I know 100% what I want from it. Miss everyone though. Heh, a couple of folk we both know/knew got married, so that was cool.
I keep getting these urges to get back into activism/equality work. Tried a couple of times. First one, I simply wasn't ready for that particular line of work (lacked the fine-tuned communication skills I think), and the second time, well, lets just say I remembered why Prides are so bloody dull x).
Also, mental health is lot better. Went cold-turkey off of SSRIs end of last year, haven't looked back. Physical health though... finding time/will to go to the gym is, meh.
How about you? Ciamar a tha thu? It sounds like you're having a *lot* of fun with life - awesome! Any grand plans at all? Or just taking it as it comes?
