Ouch!

Not my day.

Had a nice accident with my bike - the bike chain ripped, and of course it did when I was standing up in the saddle, so I totally lost balance and ended up in the ditch (literally). In front of three elderly women I had just passed. Spectacular fall, though. I was reasonably lucky, only scraped and bruised shins, elbows and hands (I had to get my scalpel to cut two stones from under my skin on one hand - don't ask me how they managed to get there) - and a contusion on my thigh where I managed to fall on a stone. Probably the only one in a radius of twenty metres, and I got it. I have a talent like that (previous scars attest to that XD).

And the worst - I just had my bike chain repaired, about five days ago. It had ripped on the exact same part of the way, minus the three elderly women. I feel cursed. I wonder what's going to happen next time I drive past there... And now I have to pay again to get my bike repaired... *sigh*

Not. My. Day.

OUCH!!! That does sound like a spectacular fall! Glad nothing's broken though... just a bruised ego, I suspect!

I guess it was. At least I didn't get badly hurt - imagine that stone had been under my head instead of my thigh (I tried that twice as a kid and I have two nice scars, one on my forehead and one through my eyebrow... XD). So yeah, the bruised ego is the worse. And that I have to wait until my bike is repaired before I can go on my usual daily exercise run...

Thanks my dear! The contusion has an impressive purple colouring, but apart from the few scratched I'm fine ^^

Bring it back to where you had it repaired and complain to them. That shouldn't have happened.

I'm glad it wasn't worse.

Well, the problem is that my bike chain is - or should I say WAS - about 21 years old and it rippen in two places at once, but not the part they had repaired. I knew it wasn't going to last very long, but I had expected more than five days...

Thanks my dear, I really think I was lucky (overall XD)

That's it! No more bike-ridding for you! Do you really need to be so...active? can't you just find something less selfharming as a hobby? Maybe pingpong?

What?!? No more biking? But.... but... I love doing some sports! Hmmmmm.... Pingpong is fun, actually, I think I will try to get my dad to play with me XD Thanks for the idea!

PS: Just finished a Marcus drawing. Maybe I'll manage to post it now - I shoud go to bed, though...

Glad you didn't get hurt to bad.

Thanks a lot, my dear. I'm glad too, it could have been way worse... (the contusion does have a rather impressive colouring, though XD)
