Self-made Jewellery

Well well, some of you might have heard that I was 'kidnapped' by my parents two days after the exam, and they took me to spend a week at the sea. And since I'm a wee bit like a crow with shiny things, I just couldn't resist picking up *tons* of seashells. Literally - I had a whole bag full at the end of the week... XD So I spent the weekend going over all my treasures, cleaning them, applying clear varnish and putting the pieces together to make some nice jewellery. I ended up with six pendants, two pairs of earrings and four sets of a pendant with matching earrings. And I still have many many more seashells... O_o

So, what do you think about the results of my gathering of random seashells? Maybe I should quit architecture and become and jeweller... XD

Hmmm, I've never given the jewellery much thought. I just let my hands take over and see what comes out. But I guess you're right, there really is something ancient about them. My dear, jewellery really is your hobby - I bow to that! ^___^ I really hope you'll like you pendant *nervous*

This icon suits talk about ancient stuff, I think. ;) It comes from working in a jewellery store for nearly three years, I can't help BUT start analysing all the jewellery I see lol (and I do enjoy it too!). Thank you so much for the pendant, you're too kind, you know that?? :)

Now, if you'll just initial here and here in blood and sign over your immortal soul, you're already to start work for the Empress!

Haha, your wee parcel is on the way! I sent it the day before yesterday (and don't worry about the fees, it was much cheaper than I expected because the jewellery is so light I could send it as a letter). And to make the waiting period even harder for you, I'll tell you that there's another surprise for you in the parcel... *teasing grin* I reaaaaally hope you like it *curious*

Let me guess, three years in a jewellery store may have augmented your love for shiny things, but you already loved jewellery before, didn't you? So it's a perfect job - you love what you do, learn stuff about it and earn money (I really want that kind of job ^^).

What? Another surprise?? You're really naughty, you know that? Not that I'm complaining!! :) I'll let you know what I think as soon as I receive it. Should only be about two weeks.

And yes, I do love jewellery before I started working at Diva. Although my love has changed, while I still really like costume jewellery I have a real fondness for the real stuff too now.

Hmmm, that is a puzzle. How about Evil Empress Boss Lady? I dunno, that had a nice ring to it in my mind! Lol.

Oh, and I have a surprise for you too! I'll get back to you in a few days regarding it but, here's a hint, I will need your address (written how I would put it on the package because I'm a little dense at addressing mail 0_o). :D :D Now, wish me luck. I'm going to an info night for auditions on Monday (the play is 'The Mousetrap'). It's kind of, very, scary!!
