The Opening of the Nanuk Manor Archives!

Heya everybody!

With this post,

I'm opening the manor_archives!!

After having finished my diploma, I finally had the time to work on a wee something that I had in mind for some time: The Nanuk Manor Archives, a community where I post my stuff, art and fic alike, and its purpose is to make it easier for you to follow any updates (compared to my personal Lj).

Futhermore, I intend - and have already started - to assemble in one place all fics that were written for my manips, or that inspired me to make a manip. Go and have a look at the Masterlist for Art and corresponding Fics to get an idea - or find a visual prompt, meaning that every piece of art is meant as a prompt, and you can take it and write however much you want and then post it at the Manor Archives to share the love and get comments! Go here for more information. I'll also have challenges hosted, like the currently running Fast and Furious Brian/Vince Summer Manipathon 2011.

I want to invite you to have a look at the manor_archives and I'm hoping you'd like to join, contribute or simply watch! Feel welcome, my friends!

If you want to, feel free to share the link to the comm with everybody you think might be interested - I'd love to spread the love for my many rare fandoms, maybe get some more fic for rare pairings and I certainly wouldn't mind get a few more followers XD

Duh, I wasn't sure where to leave them, so let's do this here...

So you, now, since we're celebrating opening the manor, I'm bringing gifts!

So I thought that, you know, you might need a little bit of an advertisement for the manor, so if you'd want to write a post about it, you could use one of these, if you like ^^' Or if you'd want more icons for the manor or something...
I couldn't find the font that fits the one you used for the original icon so I hope you'll forgive my choice of fonts *blushes* I hope you wouldn't mind the fonts I used.

I... wow... this is so totally AWESOME! YOU'RE AWESOME! I finally get to the internet after two days and I find this... I'm totally and absolutely speechless. I think I love you. Just wow!

I've been squeeing so loudly that my dad actually asked me what I was doing there with my laptop XD The icons are so incredibly beautiful and I LOVE the font (I catually find it much better than the one I used XD). Did I ever mention that you have an astonishing talent for icons/banners and the combination of image and text? I find that stuff quite difficult, but you just take the pics and turn them intop a piece of art. And don't get me started about the two banners - they're so incredibly beautiful and emotional and I don't know how to decide which one to put up... *hug attack* *cuddles you to the ground* *cuddles you some more because you're such a great person*

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH, HON! I love this so much and youtook me completely by surprise with this and I love you for givin the Manor Archives a visible, recognisable identity! Now I'll head over to the community settings and try to put up the header ^___^ *so proud of her new shiny beautiful headers and icons* Actually, I wonder if you'd agree to make a post at the comm with the icons so that everybody could use them (and make some silent add for the comm...XD). Only if you don't mind, of course - because they're so fantastic and I think they'd attrack attention and make people curious and then we'd get more visitors. And awwww, I didn't do much. They look nice, because they're YOUR manips. If not them the icons wouldn't be created, right? I didn't do much!

I love your icons so much because you have the rare talent to get across a world of emotions and aesthetics in 100x100 pixels - I never could do that (as my not-so-great attempts at icons show XD). Oh, and yay for the post with he icons XD

Sooo, as for the requests: throw them at me and I'll see what I can do. It always depends mostly on if I have the base pictures to work with, because if I have those (for example in fandoms/pairings I have already established collections for) and can do pretty much anything *being very modest* So, gibe me your prompt!

Icons are like another category of art. It's so entertaining and pleasing to see how much people can create only in 100x100 pixels :3

yay! I was kind of re-watching Due South, and I was thinking, is there even a shadow of chance that you'll ever make a sweet, cuddly Fraser/RayK/RayV manip?
I kind of realised tat I ship it very, very hard XD

Or if not that, I had an image of Ronon and Evan on the bed, staring lovingly into each other's eyes XD Or any other cuddly scenes. I'm so addicted to your Ronon/Evan manips, Hon XDDDD And don't as why cuddly. Too much of Due South does that. It's such a sweet show after all XD

*sigh* Ohhh, Due SOuth, the love of my life. This will probably forever remain my favourite series. One episode can make all depression and sadness go away to be replace with this weird calm happy feeling (especially the episodes with RayK). As for the manip request... *heavy silence* Well... my very very very first ever manip was RayK/Fraser. Actually, my first *three* manips were RayK/Fraser. And they're even posted here, I just don't link to them because they're technically so awful that I don't dare - and I only uploaded them because YOU wanted to see them. So I guess you're asking for a new and better manip? Well, I'll see what I can do. I don't even know if I have a collection for them (I don't think so *wondering*), but rewatching some episodes and taking screencaps doesn't sound like a bad idea ^___^

As for Ronon/Evan, I actually have a rather huge collection for them, so I'll give it try - once I have all those other manips finished that I have open for the smallfandomfest *counting days* I want to make you happy, after all ^^

Hmmmm, Due South is probably the most positive series I've ever come across. Heart-warming is exactly the right word, hon!

I don't want to crush you're hopes, but I'm really not into threesomes and I have to admit that RayV has the sex appeal of a fly to me... I like the character, but I *never* want to think of him in *that* way. It's nearly as horrible a picture as the Gimli/Gollum pairing a friend of mine once asked for *shudders* But I can make some Fraser/RayK, if that pleases you!

As for the 'fest, I just got three prompts for The Rundown (awesome awesome AWESOME movie, go watch it if you don't know it!!! - the slash is practically canon, it's so obvious XD) and I have already finished all three manips for those prompts. I'm going to start posting today, I guess. Oh, and I intend to get at least one Fantaghiro prompt for fanart, maybe for fic (if the muse bites me for that). And more, if I have the time to do them, and if the inspiration gets to me. Problem is, I just read the novel "The Jungle" from Clive Cussler's Oregon Files series (google it, it's great!), and there was this new character introduced, and he has *such* a slash vibe with one of the main characters... Well, let's just say, my Muse is hooked and I wrote some 4.500 words for them since yesterday evening... XD

AND AGAIN, CONGRATS, HON! I TOLD YOU YOU'RE AWESOME BEFORE; DO YOU BELIEVE ME NOW? ^____^ Really, great job! When do you start with your courses? September?

I lately read a lot more threesomes. That's what I get for being a multishipper XD I can't decide which I like better, so I go with a threesome *lol* It's only suddenly I realised that I actually like to ship Fraser/Rayk/RayV. I tried to read RayK/Fraser fics and I felt bad for leaving out RayV... :_; It's such a terrible feeling...

Hmm... I thin I've heard of Rundown. And then Dwayne Johnson's face scared me off XD I just can't ship this guy. But maybe I'll watch the movie for Seann William Scott. He's totally adorkable.

Well, my courses start in October, actually. October 1st as far as I know XD Until then, I'm happy relaing ;D

Yip, I've been all busy. The idea came to me some weeks back, but due to the diploma I never had the time to do anything about it. So once it was finished, I ran here and started to build my own manor - and of ourse I want to share my playground (as you know ^^). I'm still planning for some Speirs/Lipton manips... *need more time (or a 48-hours-day)*

I think that's a great idea! although i'll probably never find enough determination to do something like your manor for my vids (i'm actually surprised that i managed to keep my lj XD).

Oh hon S/L it's not your only problem- after we will attack you with Megan you'll have much more pairings to love and make manips about XD I think The Eagle, X-men First Class (with lovely Eric/Charles- just look at these pics- http://erik-charles.livejournal.com/124878.html#cutid1) and maybe some Agora to make you love my O/S pairing which i call "most unknown pairing ever".

Well, I had the idea for a while, so I could get used to it and then decide to realise it - wasn't an overnight decision XD And I only keep it up because I want to post my stuff somewhere when I've created something - purely egoistic, as you see XD And you should keep up your Lj, because we want you to!

*scared* You and Megan combined and out to make me enter new fandoms is a realy threat - I just know I won't be able to stop making manips once you've planted the seed... >_< And that sound like there're at least three more fandoms about to enter my mind... O_o *tries to hide, but The Muse keeps throwing ideas at me*
