Die Hard Slash Manip

Art: Manip
Fandom: Live Free or Die Hard
Pairing: John/Matt
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: nudity, men in action XD

And again, made for the [livejournal.com profile] smallfandomfest , Promp: wholeness

I couldn't resist. When I made screenshots from the movie and I stumbled across *this expression* on Matt's face, I was doomed. The idea for this manip was born and the manip muse didn't let go (she's an evil character, but I love her). Oh, can anybody tell me from which scene in the movie I took his face? If you know, I'll give you some self-made marble cake ^_____^ So, I hope you like my newest creation. Let me know? Please?

I've been manipping for a wee bit over a year. And I certainly agree, it's hard hard work. It's getting easier with every manip, though, and the more I learn about Photoshop. And you're right, the search for pics takes ages, especially taking screenshots. But for me, that's part of the fun ^_^ I'm "trained" to see which positions have potential for a manip, I can't help it anymore, I even see it when I'm simply watching a movie for fun. I might be addicted - or obsessed...

Oh, and yes, I'm German. But I lived abroad a lot, so I don't consider myself to be anything XD And honestly, I think I'd feel incredebly weird taking German to you... XD I experienced that the language you first use with a person is the language you're most comfortable using with them. Do you mind?

Well, you might have seen that most of the manips were made within the last two months - I got really obsessed. Not with a fandom in particular, but with manipping in general. I think I'm using it as a counterpart to uni...

*glomps* Oh my gosh, I'm just so happy it's not only me who has problems with finding the right words in German! I've been writing original slash stories in German for ages, but I always need a dictionary for it. I'm far more comfortable writing in English... (maybe that's because I lived in Scotland and even now that I don't, 90% of my daily language usage - written and spoken - is English *drop*)And you? How did you end up writing English stories? *curious*

Well, there's very little fanfic in German out there (and certainly even less House or Die Hard!), but there's a rather big original fandom. You can look here http://boyxboy.bidan.de/bxb2009/efiction/index.php if you're interested in broading your horizon to the world of German yaoi stories XD I have to admit, I read way more English fics than German (no surprise here if you consider the size of the English speaking web and fanfics), but I wrote some German stories and therefore I still have connections to the German fandom (one of my stories runs since 2005 and is more than 128.000 word long by now. It's called "Schwarz/Weiß" and can be found here http://boyxboy.bidan.de/bxb2009/efiction/liststories.php?action=user&uid=23 , if you're interested). Ok, sorry for spamming you with all that stiff that I'm not even sure you're interested in >_< I'll leave you at that and wait for you to tell me if I overloaded you with useless stuff ^____^
