You have no idea what it means to hear that I could make you happy with this wee manip - you're one of my favourite authors (in all kinds of fandoms) and it's nice to know that I could give something back ^^ I just read your newest Eureka fic and I loved it - the teasing, the blushing, the angst and the epiphany, all mixed with a typical Eureka-ish catastrophe. Jack and Nathan are just such a great pairing with so much potential, and you always know how to make the best of it. I love you so much for still being active in this fandom!

Yes, simple gestures can say sooooooo much - which is probably why I love manipping them. And hands can say so much more than any explicit situation (I still have one of those manipped in my new set of Eureka manips, though, and I think you won't mind ^^). I always pay great attention to the placement and the gestures of hands I use in manips - I actually have a whole folder full of hand pictures... XD

I feel so honoured that you set this up as your desktop - wow! If you want, I can send you the pic in its full resolution. I just ususally don't post then hig res versions online because they take too long to load, but if you have a bis screen, you might want to have the better resolution. Just let me know in case you're interested ^^

Eureka :DDDD I adore this show so much! (Especially the early seasons...) And Jack/Nathan, too.

I love how gentle and subtle this gesture is. It made me emotional. This pairing makes me emotional in general. Such a wonderful work, darling!

Oh yes, I totally understand what you mean! The earlier seasons are kind of funny and still intense and all those weird things that we see and that make us laugh... *sighs* Good memories there... Don't even get me started on Jack/Nathan! Not only that they're really hot together, I also love the chemistry between them and the bickering and the looks and... ok, I'll better stop here or this comment gets very long XD

You know me, hon, I'm all for subtle gestures. I think they express so much an so many levels... And I noticed I can now open a hands-only collection of manips. Seems to be another thing of mine (like the picture-in-picture manips XD). I'm so happy to hear from you, hon, and even happier to know that I could touch you with this wee piece of art! Sometimes I sit in front of my computer and I painfully miss the 'good old times' we had back when we chatted almost every day, fangirling about everything from SGA to Due South, and live seemed so easy... Now, I know we just grew up (uni and job do that to you -_-), but sometimes I wish I had a day like that again. Just living in the pleasures of fandom for a day, with nothing else to worry about. Phew, I sound like and old woman...

I hope live id good to you, my dear, and I'd love to hear how you're doing! I'm going to go to Norway in January to work there for a season in the igloo hotel, and I'm head deep in a Norwegian language course at the moment. That's about all that's new... Thank you so much for all the praise! It totally makes my day ^^ I'll make sure to post the next manip soon - I still have three more to post, after all. As for knowing the fandom or not - I have read stories of yours where I had never heard of the fandom before and still loved them. So I know what you mean ^^

Oh, more Jack/Nathan might come our way? That is the best thing I heard in a long time. There can never be too much Jack/Nathan for me, I just love all the possibilities there are with those two...

Thanks a lot, my dear! Oh yes, little gestures are awesome, aren't they? So much said with so little effort... and hands. Don't get me started on hands. They can say so incredibly much. You're absolutely righ, nudity doesn't have the kind of intimacy that a simple gesture can have...

I'm so pleased to hear you have enjoyed stories of mine even when unfamiliar with the fandom.

As for more J/N... I have a few ideas I'd like to play with which might be suitable for a Big Bang :) First I really have to work on a Mag7 Big Bang that has rough drafts due in this weekend! I'm only 3000 words in and need at least 8000! Thankfully I am off work this week, but I have a lot of other stuff to do this week too :(

I'm going to get my head down now and get at least another 2000 words down on my Mag7 BB story - I only have until Saturday! It's far too easy to get sidetracked though, as I foudn to my cost today!

Must resist the urge to write more J/N until after the Mag7 BB is done!

So, how did it go with the 2.000 words? Made it? Saturday may be close, but I'm sure you'll manage to get the 8.000 words til then! Just avoid things that really get you sidetracked (yeah, I know, easy said than done ^^).I hope you won't resist the urge to write more J/N for too long, though XD

I'm now at 4900 words... just 3000 more for the minimum draft word count! So glad I took this week off work - though it was mostly because I have deliveries due on various days and it beat stressing out whether to hope I got home in time for each one.

New bed arrives in the next half hour.. then I get get back to writing more Mag7 BB :)

A week off is a good idea with so many deliveries (or when you have craftsmen coming who are rarely on time XD), and the nice side effect is some time for your writing. I had the last two weeks off (officially), but since I was doing a one-on-one Norwegian language course, it was actually more demanding that work... very little free time (learning vocabulary and doing homework and revisions takes up so much time!), very demanding lessons and commuting 1 hour per way to the course... But hey, it's worth it. I'll be going to work in Norway in January and be there til mid April. I need to be well prepared for that ^^

I've written 7900 words... but I need to at least outline the ending before tomorrow... though it is so close to being finished now that I will push on hard today. Unfortunately, I stupidly invited a friend over this evening. I love seeing her but it is VERY BAD TIMING when I have only 4 hours left today and a few hours tomorrow to get it all written!

Problem with writing this week is that I've had little time for anything else. I always have so many things on my TO DO lists, and the time just evaporates... especially as this story has been the equivalent of 'pulling teeth'. It's been a struggle!

Working in Norway sounds wonderful and I do hope you enjoy the experience! have to admit that I am so impressed with you spending these weeks to improve your language skills.
