I've been pulling 10-12 hours shifts per day for almost six weeks now, with only 3 days off in the whole time, and I'm dead on my feet. There's no end in sight, that's what's the worst. Christmas has an incredibly bad timing this year (doesn't it every year...?), I have no presents yet, and I have to finish two work projects *before* Christmas. Meaning: before I can think about presents, and what for who and how and when to get it/make it. On top of everything, I'm applying for the PhD next summer (since I couldn't last year) and I have to send everything in before the end of the year. Research proposal (which I still have to write halfway), personal statement (which I still have to write in whole), all kinds of forms, application for scholarships and so on. The whole bunch. Phew. On 3rd of January, I leave for Norway again where I most likely won't have internet again, so I have to get everything done and ready before...

Sorry, I just needed to whine a bit - something I usually don't do, especially not online, but I kind of feel like it right now (I was told it relieves the tension..). I shouldn't even whine, I should be happy to have so many projects to work (meaning earning money ^^) and that I can actually return to Norway and that I can apply for the PhD. I'm just too tired right now to be happy. So, does anybody know a cute, fluffy, nice feel-good fic in whatever fandom to cheer me up? Something short enough that I can read it in my 15-minutes lunch break? I'd be eternally grateful! *hugs everybody* And sorry again for the whining ^^

Wow, thanks hon! I don't know any of her work, probably because I've never been into the James Bond fandom (the last true James Bond was Roger Moore for me, never mind that I didn't like him XD). I have just handed in my last project work for this year, so I hope to have a wee bit more time now to read some of her stuff. Sounds good, now I'm curious. I might give the fandom a shot... ^^

I'll try not to run myself into the ground, but I've been known to be quite bad at taking care of myself - I get too motivated for work sometimes, and then I take things too far. Like working over 12 hours a day for several days in a row... ^^V

If you can't get into James Bond, do try the RPF. The thought that he finds her hot really blows me away in a good way.

I have to admit that I'm totally not a het reader, but I see what you mean... She is really awesome, it's more about the character than gender. And that clip was just absolutely hilarious. I was on the ground laughing, really, she pulled it off so perfectly! Thanks for giving me that moment of heartfelt laughter ^_^
